Girl with the Pearl Earring

No Da Vinci this thime. Johannes Vermeer,

Girl with the Peal Earring

Amanda has been working a lot so I've had a lot of time to myself which is fun for a bit but I do miss her. Not much is new. Though I am greatly looking forward to my trip next month. The one downside is that God of War 3 comes out the day before I leave. Not a big deal, but I am just going to have to wait a little longer.

More Da Vinci

I always thought this painting was a little weird. I figured she was the "crazy cat lady" of the 1500's.... but whatever. I actually do like the painting otherwise I wouldn't have drawn it.

Not much going on, but I can just feel the home repair projects on the horizon. I know one that should be relatively quick and easy, but you never know. I just need it to warm up a bit so that I can actually do it.

Oh, I forgot to mention that in march Amanda and I will be heading to Phoenix for a week, and at some point in that week we will be in Vegas for awhile. We're not much for gambling, but we are going to get to see the Circ De Sole, "Love" based on the Beatles music. This alone makes Amanda even more excited than she preciously was (if that was possible). Also I finally get to go west of Salina Kansas.

One is light one is dark

Sides

If you are not watching LOST you are missing out.

As you can tell I am a big LOST fan. The show is great, but half the fun is just talking with other fans about what you think is going on. I recently had a LOST premiere party at our house. The new season is very promising and I am excited and a little saddened to know that this is all coming to a close.

Very early in the shows first season there is a scene I keep coming back too which told you a lot about the show without telling you anything (which LOST is very good about doing). You can see that scene here.

It's not too late to start watching, but you are WAY behind.
